Chester City Passion
Good Friday 10.30am FREE
Theatre in the Quarter and Chester Mystery Plays combine to bring the story of Jesus' last days on earth to life in the historic city of Chester. With music and direction by Matt Baker, audiences in their thousands are guaranteed to feel part of the story as it unfolds on Good Friday morning.
Around 3,000 people - Cestrians and visitors - took to the streets on Good Friday for the first ever performance of the Chester City Passion (produced by Chester Mystery Plays working with Theatre in the Quarter).
Chester residents and visitors will be treated to a performance of the Passion on Good Friday (25 March 2016). This is co-delivered by Theatre in the Quarter and Chester Mystery Plays.
