About Us
Theatre in The Quarter is Chester’s leading professional theatre company. Founded in 2005, it has quickly gained a reputation for original music theatre, engaging with professional actors, musicians, directors and designers, as well as numerous members of the community, of all ages and abilities.
Its original productions draw inspiration from the lives and experiences of the people of Chester and surrounding areas. The company’s work is supported by Arts Council England and Cheshire West and Cheshire Council. Theatre in The Quarter also works with other arts organisations to make exciting projects happen.
